Specialized in running performing arts holiday camps in musical theatre for young people over 10 years of age, Beauville Arts Hong Kong Musical Theatre Summer Camps help students to:
- refine techniques in performing arts
- embrace the joy of stage performance
- broaden their views and stimulate creativity
- empower social skills and confidence
- enhance English language skills
|The Summer Camp will last for 6 days. Our experienced trainers will fly from France and the UK to Hong Kong to provide authentic West End training on acting, singing and dancing in a focused and fun manner (approx. 50hrs) to the participants.||On the last day of the camp, students will perform a full length musical (approx. 1.5hrs) to demonstrate their learning outcome. In addition, our experienced educators will assist on-site and provide support. A “Certificate of Achievement” will be awarded upon completion.|
This year, Beauville Arts Hong Kong will bring you two Camps F.A.M.E. and Romeo & Juliet.
Camp 1: F.A.M.E. is an encouraging teen musical, and an energetic, inspiring and a recompiled story tribute to the classics – Fame. Fame discusses teenage issues in an inspiring way. How do the students overcome the challenges they face while chasing after their dreams? Fame was a 1980 film released in America and later adapted into TV series. It had its world theatrical première in Miami, Florida in 1988 and began its UK tour on West End in 1995. Its triumph throughout the world made it a timeless story since its début.
Camp 2: Romeo and Juliet is a well-known romantic tragedy by Williams Shakespeare. In 1776, an opera of the same title premièred in Germany. Following that, the epic love story has been revitalized on screen and in theatres. Its musical received positive feedbacks when premièred in Paris, France in 2007. It was then translated into various languages and performed around the world. This fall, the story of the two names is on Broadway for the very first time. Such worldwide enthusiasm will undoubtedly revive the legend of the timeless tale of the world’s most notable author. “Every generation deserves to discover this lasting love”, so are you ready to join our journey here in Hong Kong?
